Social media marketing is showing true benefits

Companies are increasing their revenues when they integrate social media networking with their marketing campaigns and strategies.

Social Network Marketing is a new channel to build your prospects, deliver your messages and market your products and services. There are literally hundreds of social media outlets ranging from personal, to business, to industry-driven, to community-driven.

All companies big and small have acknowledged some type of social media presence whether for their business or for personal use. While social networks like Facebook and Twitter are rapidly increasing members many companies are jumping blindly on the bandwagon, and fast.

A recent study “The Who's Most Engaged” by Wetpaint and Altimeter Group found that Social Media Engagement is directly linked to financial success.

The report states, “The goals of the study were to measure how deeply engaged the top 100 global brands are in a variety of social media channels and, more importantly, understand if higher engagement is correlated with financial performance.”

The report adds, “A surprising conclusion: While much has been written questioning the value of social media, this landmark study has found that the most valuable brands in the world are experiencing a direct correlation between top financial performance and deep social media engagement. The relationship is apparent and significant: socially engaged companies are in fact more financially successful.”

“But start you must, or risk falling far behind other brands, not only in your industry, but across your customers’ general online experience,” it stated.

So according to report it does pay to be social. Our goal at Designtek Solutions is not to push our clients on every social network available as it's impossible to maintain an active presence on every site, though it does show that being very active on a limited amount shows to be paying off.
